Reasonable measures imply that a business plan or management programme must be prepared that is incorporated into existing other general business management programmes. Typical actions that will be implemented in the preparation and implementation of such a management programme will be the following:

assess and evaluate the impact on the environment
Inform and
educate employees about the environmental risks of their work and the
manner in which their tasks must be performed in order to avoid causing
significant pollution or degradation of the environment.
Cease,
modify or control any act, activity or process causing the pollution or
degradation
Contain or
prevent the movement of pollutants or the causant of degradation
Eliminate
any source of the pollution or degradation
Remedy the
effects of the pollution or degradation
